What happens to a recording
When you record something, it is stored privately. It is transcribed so we can find the most meaningful moments, edited and combined with other people's recordings and instrumental music, and delivered to the person it was made for. The organizer who invited you can listen to the finished message before it is sent.
What we never do
We never create synthetic speech, clone a voice, or put words in anyone's mouth. Every word in a Montage was really said by the person you hear. Recordings are not made public or indexed, and we don't use them to train AI models.
Text messages
We text people only because an organizer invited them to a specific Montage, or to deliver one. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts from SendingLuv.
Getting a copy of the final Montage
When you send your recording, we ask whether you'd like to see the finished Montage. If you say yes, we use your email address to send you a link once the organizer approves it, and we keep the address afterwards, even if the Montage is later deleted. We only send you news and offers if the box asking for them is ticked when you send your recording (in the US it starts ticked and you can untick it; elsewhere you tick it yourself), and every one of those emails lets you unsubscribe. The organizer doesn't see your address.
Retention and deletion
Organizers can delete a Montage at any time, which permanently removes its recordings, transcripts and audio. Unless deleted earlier, original recordings are deleted 180 days after delivery; the finished message stays available to its recipient for at least a year.
Reporting a problem
If a Montage is being used to harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, use the "Report a problem" link on the page you received.
